The Abbott Cell Dyn 1600cs is an automated cell counter with unparalleled capabilities. Multiple sampling modes accept specimens in either closed or open collection tubes to obtain a 16 parameter hematology profile. Specimens are safely aspirated via closed sampling. Open sampling aspirates only 30µL of whole blood for use when micro specimens are run. A proprietary design of open sampling automatically wipes and rinses the probe limiting operator exposure to infectious disease.
