Piston seals from Optimize Technologies
are designed to offer reliable performance in a variety of operating conditions. We offer OPTI-SEAL UHMW polyethylene-based seals for applications where mostly aqueous or buffered-aqueous mobile phases are used, and ITB graphetized PTFE seals
when mobile phases are mostly organic or where chemical compatibility is of primary concern.

PISTONS
Optimize sapphire pistons (also referred to as plungers) are made from the same high-quality material OEMs use for their own components. Our sapphire pistons offer optimal concentricity and
resistance to wear. The angle at which sapphire rods are cut in relation to the grain of the crystal lattice has a large effect on the durability and strength of the finished product. This cut angle is
tightly controlled during the machining process, resulting in a piston with maximal resistance to breakage and superior wear characteristics.

OPTI-MAXŽ Cartridge Check Valves are the most reliable, high-performance check valve system available. They offer many advantages over OEM check valves, and are better designed and better made than any other check valve product. Every aspect of design and manufacture reflects an unavoidable fact: when it comes to reliable check valve operation, quality and precision make a big difference. OPTI-MAXŽ enables customers to perform check valve repair much more rapidly and reliably than with OEM rebuild kits. The same OPTI-MAXŽ check valve cartridge can function in both inlet and outlet positions. Also, the same cartridge will work in multiple types/brands of HPLC systems, when used with the correct OPTI-MAXŽ housing. Most OPTI-MAXŽ check valve housings utilize our unique Free-Turn two-piece swivel design which allows the check valve cartridge to be replaced without having to disconnect tubing from the housing.
