Coag-A-Mate XM

The Coag-A-Mate XM is a manual photo-optical coagulation instrument with extended test and data management capabilities. The test menu includes all routine coagulation tests (PT, APTT, TT, fibrinogen and factor assays). In addition a semi-quantitative fibrinogen (SQF) option is available in which the software algorithm calculates the fibrinogen content from the PT clotting reaction.

Operation is simplified by audio and/or visual prompts that indicate ending of warming and activation cycles. Dual-well disposable cuvettes are used and two independent test stations allow 4 samples to be tested simultaneously. Four storage wells with stirring capability allow for pre-heating of reagents; during testing, reagents are added manually with a pipette. Build-in data management software offers various report formats (seconds, %, INR, ratio or mg/dL), holds 15 reference curves (3-10 data points) for PT Quick percent, fibrinogen and factor analysis and automatically averages duplicates with a CV check. An optional printer modules is available.

Manual coagulation instrument for low volumes.

The Coag-A-Mate XM can be used for special applications, including research work, and as a back-up for larger systems. The pipetting steps need to be done manually. Two independent stations permit simultaneous testing of different assays, for instance PT and APTT.
