This state-of-the-art Optima Series ultracentrifuge line is able to reliably serve your lab for as long as you'll be there.  Why? Beckman's' unsurpassed Optima series technology includes a vacuum encased induction drive- the first of its kind in the world.  Virtually NO friction means years of reliable performance for you and your lab. Next, the refrigeration system is thermoelectric.  Hi tech means no CFC's.  The vacuum system is moisture purging and thereby drastically reduces maintenance.  Bottom line - service engineer calls are a rarity!  The Optima Line comes in 3 flavors; the economical LE 80, the L series, and the 'Mercedes' -the XL series with all the 'bells and whistles'.
